It’s a clean and healthy lemonade recipe that’s easy to make and oh so delicious!
This is a summertime staple in the Nutrifitx Kitchen! It’s super easy to make, it’s clean, and it’s actually good for you. While there is sugar in this recipe, we choose a healthier, all natural sweetener that sacrifices NO flavor.
Note: A serving of Nutrifitx Lemonade is 8 ounces. While this is a low-sugar option, the calories in this drink do come from sugar. Healthy Mushroom Tuna Steak Pasta
This creamy mushroom tuna steak pasta is a great, quick, easy dish that looks more impressive than it is. It's lean, clean, and satisfying!

Ingredients
- 4 oz Nutrifitx Approved Pasta (see note)
- 2 Yellowfin Tuna Steaks
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Baby Bella Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1/2 c Organic Vegetable Broth
- 1/4 c Unsweetened Oat Milk
- Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to package instructions. Keep warm once cooked.
- Meanwhile, season your tuna steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a medium skillet, add butter and melt over medium-low heat (be careful not to burn your butter When butter is ready, add tuna steaks (you should hear a sizzle). Cover and allow to cook for 3-5 minutes. Flip and repeat until cooked through. If you need more oil, add a SMALL AMOUNT of olive oil. Oil is a high calorie, nutrient-poor food. Use as little as possible.
- When tuna steaks are cooked as desired, remove from pan and set aside. Add 1/2 Tbsp olive oil to skillet and warm. (Do not allow oil to smoke.) When warmed, add slived mushrooms cooking until soft (approximately 5 minutes).
- Add broth and garlic, stirring until pan is deglazed.
- Once deglazed, turn off heat and add oat milk. Stir until well combined.
- Place tuna steaks back into the skillet, and cover with a lid. Allow to sit until tuna is reheated. (Approximately 2-3 minutes.)
- Add 1 serving of pasta to a plate, top with tuna steaks, mushrooms, and sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and black pepper if desired.
