You can use a rice pot to cook rice, quinoa, millet, amaranth, teff, rolled oats, and almost any whole grain you can think of. It’s super simple, and a basic rice pot only takes about 30 minutes.

Using a rice cooker is great for meal prep. You can cook tons of grains in around 30 minutes, and you can run the rice pot multiple times. Save your rice, quinoa, oats, etc. for meals throughout the week, and safe yourself time and mental space.

Use this recipe to cook your favorite grains in your rice pot! We use this for brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, millet, oats, and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 c Nutrifitx Approved Grain of Choice (Sort or wash according to package directions)
  • 2 c Water or Broth

Instructions

  1. Add dry grain and water/broth to your rice pot. Press start. Grains come out cooked perfectly in about 30 minutes. Serve immediately or cool and store.

Notes

You can multiply or divide this recipe as needed by measuring in parts. This recipe is one part grain, two parts liquid.
